4th Tuesday, March 25, 2008: LEAN Construction and Building Operations

The LEAN concept began in manufacturing, where it is being used to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs. Similar ideas are being applied in construction to save time and improve quality and thus reduce overall cost. And, now we are using the concepts in building operations, such as to reduce lighting levels, hours of operation and utility bills.
